Supplies:
Guitar picks
Needle
Lighter
Jump rings
Necklace
Steps:
- Place the guitar pick on a board or another surface that you don’t mind damaging.
- Heat the sharp end of the needle with the lighter and touch to top center of the guitar pick to make a hole (it may help to dot with a marker where you’d like to make the hole).
- Repeat with as many guitar picks as you wish to put on a necklace. Let them cool.
- Slide a jump ring through the hole and place on necklace.
I’ve used a chain-type necklace bought from an arts and crafts store and spaced the picks out along the necklace, as well as used a single pick on a regular chain.
The picks also could be made into matching earrings.
