Author Kristen Chase doesn’t waste time getting to the down and dirty of returning to those sexcapades of yore. After pushing an 8-pound baby out of your vagina, you’re not so sure you want anyone coming near it for any reason, but Chase’s book will help you gather the nerve to try again. She offers advice on adjusting to the baby, getting your vagina back into shape and ready for sex again, feeling sexy and more.
Many pieces of her advice can be found or heard elsewhere, but Chase delivers them with humor. She doesn’t pull any punches and is straight to the point, offering tips like, “Invest in clear shaving gel and a good mirror, or grab a Schick Intuition razor with the lotion already built right in. It makes things a lot easier, and will hopefully eliminate the chance of an embarrassing ER visit.”
Her language is racy, but this is a book for naughty moms — which would explain why it includes tips on sex toys, porn and videotaping yourself having sex. She just wants you to know that becoming a mom doesn’t mean you’re not hot. You’ve still got it, you might just need to look for it.
